Spatial Distribution Characteristics and Optimum Layout of Urban and Rural Areas in Different Geomorphological Types

Abstract: Taking Jinghe River Basin in the Loess geomorphological area and Guangnan County in the karst geomorphological area as the study area, the spatial distribution characteristics of urban and rural areas of different geomorphological types are analyzed. By using GIS and related statistical analysis software, this paper summarizes three basic urban and rural types: river channel type, plateau surface type, and loess terrace horizon prototype in the Loess Landscape Jinghe River Basin. It is known that most towns in… Show more

“…It shows that learners in Zhuangyuan Cultural District need qu iet learning environments, so the complexity of their architectural space distribution is relatively low, and at the same time reflect the space with different functions, and the complexity of their architectural space forms is different. A large number of studies [26,38] have confirmed that the distribution of residential areas is closely related to topography, traffic conditions, river water and other factors, i n this study, the Thiessen polygon method is used to analyse the architectural spatial form of the six districts of Qingyan Ancient Town, and the research results are consistent with this conclusion, which shows that Qingyan Ancient Town relies on the mountains and pays attention to the use of natural topography. According to Kexing Huang's research [39], Qingyan Ancient Town was built in accordance with the natural world and local conditions, reflecting the traditional concept of nature that "heaven and man are identical" and "the village is in harmony with the mountains and rivers, and people live in paintings",which expressed the beauty of harmony between man and nature .…”

“…erefore, the construction of ecological civilization has become an important task of development [21]. With regard to various disputes and conflicts in rural areas, I have this feeling after reading several public opinion analysis: first, neighborhood relations are the social basis of grass-roots governance.…”

“…International studies on the spatial characteristics of rural settlements are carried out based on spatial distribution, form, and type. It is found that the settlement space is mainly affected by such factors as topography [9,10], water resources, and traffic accessibility [11], but it also needs to pay attention to the impact of ecological security [12] and living environment guarantee. Landscape safety pattern is an effective way to coordinate rapid urbanization and ecological conservation, it has become a hot spot of attention in recent years, and previous studies have mostly focused on analysis [13][14][15] of ecological safety in geology, hydrology, atmosphere, biodiversity, and farmland.…”
