Spatial-temporal characteristics of the error in regulating the energy release distribution in RBMK-1000

Abstract: The standard errors and time constants for the distribution of energy release and other parameters of RBMK-1000 in the first two power-generating units of the Kursk nuclear power plant are determined. The standard error is 2.4 and 1.8%, respectively, for the fuel-assembly powers and the coefficients of radial nonuniformity of the energy-release distribution.
