Abstract:The standard errors and time constants for the distribution of energy release and other parameters of RBMK-1000 in the first two power-generating units of the Kursk nuclear power plant are determined. The standard error is 2.4 and 1.8%, respectively, for the fuel-assembly powers and the coefficients of radial nonuniformity of the energy-release distribution. The time constant for the energy-release distribution for the fuel-assembly powers, the coefficient of axial nonuniformity, and the axial skewness is ~1.5… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
