Abstract:In this paper, the Integrated Nested Laplace Algorithm (INLA) is applied to the Epidemic Type Aftershock Sequence (ETAS) model, and the parameters of the ETAS model are obtained for the earthquake sequences active in different regions of Xinjiang. By analyzing the characteristics of the model parameters over time, the changes in each earthquake sequence are studied in more detail.
