Abstract:Older adults who identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual (LGB) or as transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) have often been considered an "invisible minority." Historically, research and clinical literature on aging has not typically acknowledged diversity in sexual orientation and gender identity.
