“…In fact, the results of X-ray studies [32] show that the parameters of a unit cell of TlTe fail to experience sharp variations in the transition region. The paper just mentioned [34] is the first to show that the heat-capacity behaviour of TI,Se over a wide temperature range is well described by (2.1) with 0, = 140.3 K and 0, = 51.2 K. However, the results of our studies show that (2.1) is unsuitable for describing the heat capacities of T1,S and T1,Te [35, 361. It should be noted that the C , ( T ) dependence for T1,Te in the range from 5 to 50K can by described by (3.1) with O1 = 157 K and 0, = 47 K [3G], and in this case the maximum disagreement with the experiment amounts to 5%.…”
