Abstract:The current focus on innovative spectrum policies and efficient wireless bandwidth utilization has motivated research on methods for dynamic spectrum access. By letting systems share the spectrum, trunking gains and better utilization of the bandwidth is predicted. From a technical point of view, the paradigm shift to open frequency bands implies a need to investigate and verify resulting capacity gains. In this paper, we give a general method for evaluating system capacity subject to outage probability constr… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
