Spectral Holography and Spectral Nonlinear Optics of Ultrashort Pulses

Abstract

This paper reviews the principles of recording, reconstruction and nonlinear transformations of ultrashort light pulses, based on spatial spectral decomposition of light. Some applications of these methods for processing time-dependent signals in the femtosecond to nanosecond range are also considered.
