Spectral image reconstruction of coded aperture spectral imaging system based on compressed sensing

Abstract: Aiming at the current status that the reconstruction quality of spectral image is yet to be enhanced, an improved two-step iterative shrinkage/threshold (TwIST) algorithm is proposed in this paper. Firstly, according to the coded aperture spectral imaging principle, a mathematical model for spectral image reconstruction of coded aperture spectral imaging system based on compressed sensing is established. Then, taking the spatial smooth transition characteristics of spectral image as a priori knowledge, two imp… Show more

“…In 2007, the coded aperture Snapshot spectral imager (CASSI) developed by Duke University carried out data reconstruction based on compressed sensing theory, which is an important milestone in the research of coded aperture imaging technology 2,3 . In 2019, Changchun Institute of Optics and Machinery developed a coded aperture spectral imager based on compressed sensing, optimized the coded aperture, and proposed a spectral unmixing algorithm with higher speed and accuracy 4 . At the same time, motion compensation imaging technology can also increase the integration time of ground pixels, so as to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of remote sensing images.…”
