Spectrometer for ultrashort X-ray based on scintillator and optical fiber: proof of principle study

Abstract: An active filter stack spectrometer based on the scintillator and optical fiber is proposed and characterized for measuring the ultrashort X-ray spectrum. The active filter stack spectrometer consists of multiple detection modules, each of which has three components: a scintillator, an optical fiber, and a PMT.
