Spectroscopic Techniques versus Pitot Tube for the Measurement of Flow Velocity in Narrow Ducts

Abstract: In order to assess the limits and applicability of Pitot tubes for the measurement of flow velocity in narrow ducts, e.g., biomass burning plants, an optical, dual function device was implemented.
