Spiked Covariance Estimation from Modulo-Reduced Measurements

Abstract: Consider the rank-1 spiked model: X = √ u + Z, where is the spike intensity, u ∈ −1 is an unknown direction and ∼ (0, 1), Z ∼ (0, I).
