Spontaneous pneumothorax associated with Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract: Pneumothorax is a condition in which there is free air between the parietal and visceral pleural sheets. The neonatal stage is the most common period when it develops during childhood. It is a problem that requires urgent intervention. We presented the case of a spontaneous pneumothorax in a newborn with positive culture of S. aureus.
