Abstract:Spontaneously integrated multicolor InGaN micro‐LEDs with a micro‐stripe topography achieve selective electrical operation with four different color emissions: green, bluish‐green, bluish‐purple, and purple. The entire micro‐stripe displays broadband emissions because the stripe topography with a convex lens–like cross‐section induces a continuous emission wavelength gradient in the overgrown InGaN active layers. Since each wavelength component is distributed along the stripe direction, multiple narrow p‐elect… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
