“…Therefore, we fully support the position regarding the need to develop a unified system of combating corruption and bribery in the sport industry, in particular, in sports management, and creating a unified theoretical system in this area (Philippou, 2019). This will contribute to over-coming unsportsmanlike behaviour during sports events and during preparation for their holding (for example, when choosing a venue for a competition) by developing a programme specifying specific events (Hall et al, 2021) and establishing unified sanctions for committing such crimes (Ifeanyichukwu & Dennis, 2017).
