The Fock representation of the Q-operator algebra for the diagonal 2D su(n) k WZNW model where Q = (Q i j ) , Q i j = a i α ⊗ā α j , and a i α ,ā β j are the chiral WZNW "zero modes", has a natural basis labeled by su(n) Young diagrams Y m subject to the "spread" restriction spr (Y m ) := #(columns) + #(rows) ≤ k + n =: h .
