Squamous Cell Carcinoma Arising In a Benign Cystic Teratoma

Abstract: Mature cystic teratoma is the most common germ cell tumor of ovary comprising 10-20% of all ovarian tumors (1). Mature cystic teratoma is generally a benign tumor, however cases of malignant transformation occurs in 1-2% of cases (2).
