Abstract:Cognitive Radio networks (CRNs) implement dynamic spectrum sensing and management techniques to address the underutilization of limited available spectrum in wireless networks. Both dynamic and opportunistic spectrum sensing techniques are frequently used by the cognitive radios (CRs) to identify the spectral holes in licensed spectrum of the primary users (PUs) and allocate these bands to the unlicensed secondary users (SUs). In this paper we have presented a state-based probabilistic sensing model for primar… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
