Statefinder diagnostic for modified Chaplygin gas cosmology in f(R,T) gravity with particle creation

Abstract: In this paper, we have studied flat Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) model with modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) having equation of state p m = Aρ − B ρ γ , where 0 ≤ A ≤ 1, 0 ≤ γ ≤ 1 and B is any positive constant in f (R, T ) gravity with particle creation. We have considered a simple parametrization of the Hubble parameter H in order to solve the field equations and discussed the time evolution of different cosmological parameters for some obtained models showing unique behavior of scale factor. We ha… Show more

“…A symbolic feature of the SFD is that the standard CDM model of cosmology is represented by the pegged point {r, s} = {1, 0}, whereas the standard matter dominated Universe, SCDM, corresponds to the fixed point {r, s} = {1, 1}. Other than the CDM and SCDM model, the SFD analysis can successfully discriminate among the several dark energy candidates such as quintessence, braneworld dark energy models, Chaplygin gas and some other interacting dark energy models by locating some particular region in the said diagram in the distinctive trajectories [28,[99][100][101].…”

“…Another class of alternative ideas concerns the theory of dark fluid that unifies both DM and DE as a single phenomenon [27]. In order to understand the behavior of the Chaplygin gas in detail, one can review some excellent work published by Singh et al [28][29][30]. In addition, holographic dark energy (HDE) is also a suitable choice for DE (among other alternatives) that might be originated from the quantum fluctuations of space-time [31][32][33][34].…”

“…The pair {r, s} can differentiate between various cosmological models such as cosmological constant, brane-world model [79,80], interacting dark energy models, quintessence, and Chaplygin gas. In literature, dark energy models have been investigated by using the statefinder diagnostics [81][82][83]. The fixed point {r, s} = {1, 0} and {1, 1} corresponds to CDM and standard cold dark matter (SCDM) models [77,84] respectively and the region s < 0, r > 1 in r − s plane gives model having Chaplygin gas model-like properties.…”
