Statin use and mortality in rheumatoid arthritis: an incident user cohort study

“…Post hoc analyses of 2 statin RCTs (intensive versus moderate statins for secondary prevention) showed a nonsignificant CVD reduction in RA patients (n = 199) compared to patients without inflammatory arthritis (19% versus 20%) (21).
