Stem cell transplantation in patients with autonomic neuropathy due to primary (AL) amyloidosis

Abstract: Patients with autonomic neuropathy secondary to AL amyloidosis can undergo autologous stem cell transplantation with relative safety. Autonomic neuropathy is an independent, adverse determinant of survival in these patients.
