Abstract:Lower limb energy storage assisted exoskeletons realize walking assistance by using the energy stored by elastic elements during walking. Such exoskeletons are characterized by a small volume, light weight and low price. However, energy storage assisted exoskeletons adopt fixed stiffness joints typically, which cannot adapt to changes of the wearer's height, weight, or walking speed. In this study, based on the analysis of the energy flow characteristics and stiffness change characteristics of lower limb joint… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
