Abstract:Rationale:
A persistent primitive trigeminal artery (PPTA) is a rare embryonic cerebrovascular anomaly. Hemifacial spasm (HFS) refers to involuntary contractions of facial muscles caused by the compression of blood vessels against the root exit zone of the facial nerve.
