Abstract: Figure 1: Application examples of Strawctures, a construction kit for rapid prototyping human-scale interactive structures: (A) Scarecrow garden decoration -the scarecrow illuminates, buzzes, and vibrates when touched; (B) Pendant lighting -the lighting automatically turns on when the room becomes dark; (C) Toy house -the house responds to touch and light intensity through its interactive side.
