This study explores the extant literature surrounding minimalism's sustainability, aiming to propose novel dimensions applicable to sustainability in the context of taking wedding clothes on rent. The article specifically examines the viability of minimalism in the context of renting wedding attire in India, uncovering a dearth of research in this area. With the concentration of 5-year span (2018–2023) and drawing from the Scopus database, the findings emphasize minimalism's multifaceted impact on consumer behaviour, well-being, and sustainability. The existing literature is not available in the context of renting wedding clothes within the Indian socio-cultural milieu. The study identifies various factors, including socio-economic intricacies, daily effects, and alignment with manufacturing, alongside the innovative "Minimalonomics" model, offering insights into conscious consumption and well-being transformation. While factors like utility, user-friendliness, perspective, and societal pressures affect the adoption of wedding attire rental platforms, consumers prioritizing sustainability exhibit positive correlations with slow fashion, perceived value, purchase intent, willingness to pay a premium, and recommending slow-fashion products. Conversely, considerations like hygiene, perception, societal norms, perceived efficacy, environmental awareness, and personal relevance may sway consumers away from clothing rental services.

Taking as a case the art-led regeneration of the derelict district of Lakkos in Heraklion town (Crete), the purpose of this exploratory study is to add to the knowledge of art produced by travelling artists as an important part of the town’s tourist offer by offering a rich contextual analysis of the mural images they produced and giving priority to their views. It adopts three data collection methods, photographic documentation (25 mural images), observations, and asynchronous email interviews with 21 traveling artists. By applying a typology in the main theme of each mural and by using travelling artists’ narratives three main groups of murals emerged, namely heritage-inspired, place-inspired and socially-inspired. The data collected are discussed in relation to the problems accrued from the gentrification of Lakkos through mural-based development. Due to limited past research, the typology that emerged from this study is only applicable to the case under study.

Research on network theory and innovativeness often addresses innovations. However, network theory lacks theory on innovativeness (the ability to participate in innovation processes), whereas the latter lacks descriptions of network theory. This paper seeks to describe these desiderata, to combine these theoretical research approaches, and to enrich Weis et al.'s (2017) Innovativeness model with network theory in order to describe collaborative innovating. To do this, we use the example of street art, which we view as a form of geomedia that can be created collaboratively as innovations. We will use predominantly the example of the street artist Blek le Rat, whose presumptive embeddedness in social networks we see as an important part of his innovativeness. The final enriched Innovativeness model can contribute to explaining other innovation processes in geography and beyond, to promoting people's abilities to participate in innovation-related communication processes, to changing spatial meanings and to shaping societies.
