Strengthening the Bridge Between Academic and the Industry Through the Academia-Industry Collaboration Plan Design Model

Abstract: The study has been undertaken to integrate two different aspects of the triple helix model: universities and the industry. Special attention has been paid to the prevailing difference between the two, hampering their working as a coherent unit. Integrating the existing knowledge in the study, we proposed the Academia-Industry Collaboration Plan (AICP) design model. The model comprises processes, methods or approaches, and tools. Processes serve as a road map to third parties for establishing collaboration betw… Show more

“…In addition to using blockchain to create a trade infrastructure, computational capabilities might be added to create more sophisticated and complicated applications, such as building a decentralized computing platform that can be leveraged to provide a range of smart grid solutions (Rao and Clarke, 2020;Abir et al, 2021;Ahmed et al, 2022). For example, variable pricing might be used to enforce control inside the smart grid (Olivares-Rojas et al, 2021).…”

“…However, universities are often oriented toward standardized knowledge transfer, while the industry is oriented toward economic profitability and efficiency (Ahmed et al , 2022). For this reason, some authors mention that universities and industry are speaking in “different languages” (Perkmann et al , 2013; Ranga and Etzkowitz, 2013).…”
