Structural and catalytic performance of a polyoxometalate-based hybrid compound

Abstract: By introducing long rigid ligands into polyoxometalate (POM) systems, a new POM-based hybrid compound with CDS topology, {[Cu(bpe)] 2 (H 2 SiMo 12 O 40 )}·(bpe)·2H 2 O (1) (bpe = bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene), has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by physical methods.
