Abstract:Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) based polymers were studied as potential dielectric candidates for polymer film capacitors. The present work focused on the structural and electrical responses of PVDF homopolymer and P(VDF‐CTFE) copolymers (CTFE, chlorotrifluoroethylene). The solvent casting technique was used for the fabrication of free‐standing polymer films. PVDF and P(VDF‐CTFE) copolymer films with different CTFE content were cast under different processing conditions. The structural response of these semi… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
