“…Glass-ceramics band-gaps are similar to those reported by Madheshiya et al for glass-ceramics containing Bi 2 Ti 2 O 7 as the principal crystalline phase [32]. Moreover, it can also appreciate that all samples presented values lower than TiO 2 anatase (3-3.38 eV), the BaTiO 3 (3.2 eV), and the Bismuth Barium titanates (2.94-2.99), which have been reported as photocatalyst [43][44][45][46][47]. The results show that glass-ceramics produced could be promissory as photocatalytic materials.…”

“…When Cernea et al explored the hydrothermal preparation of terbium-doped barium titanate; they looked at its structural, electrical, and photoluminescence properties. They found that the powders had a cube-shaped grain microstructure with an average particle size of between 75nm and 150nm, (Cernea et al, 2021). Kadira et al used the sol-gel method to test the dielectric properties of calcium-doped BT, and they found that the powders are in a pure perovskite phase without any secondary phases, (Kadira et al, 2016).…”

“…It is well known that doping and grain size affect the ferroelectric ceramics' electric and optical characteristics. (Cernea et al, 2021). Dielectrics are materials with increased electrical resistivity, such materials have uses in pulsed capacitor technology due to their high energy storage density, strong temperature stability, and para-electric, piezoelectric, and ferroelectric characteristics.…”

“…However, due to the prohibition of the 4f-4f transition, the absorption and emission intensity of the rare earth ion itself is very weak [ 33 ]. When lanthanide ions are coordinated with small molecular organic ligands (such as 2-thienyl trifluoroacetone (TTA), acetylacetone (acac), and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen)), the fluorescent properties of lanthanide complexes can be significantly improved through the antenna effect [ 34 , 35 , 36 ]. Therefore, if the local environment of the coordination complex changes, such as via ligand exchange, these changes can be sensitively detected by the resulting change in fluorescence intensity.…”
