Structural, Impedance Spectroscopy, and Electrical Properties in BiBaNiMnO6 Double Perovskite for some Device Applications

Abstract

Due to potential technological applications in a variety of industries, including electronic devices, telecommunications, magnetism, and the health sector, double perovskite materials have attracted a lot of attention from researchers in recent years. In this article, we develop a new BiBaNiMnO6 is a chemical compound studies of the structural and electrical characteristics of the sol-gel-produced double perovskite material have been discussed under various experimental circumstances. The creation of a single-phase, space group R3̅C, secondary phase-free rhombohedral system is confirmed by the room temperature X-ray diffraction study. Dielectric, impedance, conductivity, and modulus of the sample were all tested at different temperatures (100-360K) and frequencies (1kHz-1MHz), and the results reveal numerous surprising properties of the material. Electrical impedance analysis reveals that the sample is represented by an equivalent electrical circuit that is connected in parallel and contains a resistance, capacitance, and a fractal capacitance CPE. Semicircles of Nyquist plots provide evidence that the material exhibits non-Debye type relaxation behavior. There is a relaxation process in the material, as demonstrated by the analysis of the complex modulus approach, the real and imaginary component as a function of frequency for various temperatures. The Jonscher's power law's detailed investigation of the frequency dependence of conductivity at various temperatures reveals a thermally the conduction mechanism is activated. Electrical conductivity and modulus activation energies are very near, suggesting that the relaxation and conduction processes use the same sort of charge carrier. The two models of conduction are correlated barrier hopping (CBH) and non-overlapping small-polaron tunneling (NSPT). Electrical properties of the produced material are really intriguing. Knowing that capacitors can be employed in electrical fields.
