Abstract:The link between the structural properties and the rupturing of chordae tendineae in the mitral valve complex is still unclear. Synchrotron-radiation-based X-ray phase computed tomography (SR-XPCT) imaging is an innovative way to quantitatively analyze three-dimensional morphology.
