Abstract:Hemslecin C, a compound with a novel skeleton, is synthesized by refluxing hemslecin A with KOH in alcohol. Hemslecin C was structurally characterized by specific optical rotation measurement, high-resolution mass spectroscopy, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic analysis.
