Abstract:Alcoholysis is an important reaction for the current industrial production of ethylene‐vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymers. Herein, two series of ionic liquids (ILs), acidic and basic ones, were used as eco‐friendly catalysts for alcoholysis of ethylene‐vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer.
