Structure formation and functional properties of thin-gauge tapes made of copper-based alloys obtained by melt spinning

Abstract: The article presents evidence proving that the alloys of the CuZnAl system, unlike the CuAl (Ni, Mn) system, have a smaller contact area with the quenching disk. It is caused by the condensation of Zinc vapors from the melt on its quenching surface. In addition, it is shown that Bronze alloys, in comparison with Brasses, are preferable for obtaining tapes by spinning.
