Abstract:The posttranslational modification of proteins with N‐linked glycans is a topic of intense research as the N‐linked glycans attached to proteins have been found to have a profound effect on both structure and function of many glycoproteins. This article describes the biosynthesis and function of a range of proteins that are glycosylated with N‐linked oligosaccharides.
