“…[68][69][70][71] Nickel sulphides have recently attracted much attention among other transition metal sulphides because they encompass several phases and high electron transport characteristics. 72 Arivazhagan et al developed a homogeneous distribution of nanoclusters of nickel sulphides on nickel sulphides microspheres (NC-NiSjMS-NiS) without the utilization of any templates by the electrochemical approach for sensing lactic acid in human urine samples. 73 The uniform distribution of NiS nanoclusters (∼3 nm) on NiS microspheres (∼761 nm) was deposited directly on the nickel foam (NF) electrode (Fig.…”

“…The differences in the radius of the dopants and the pristine atoms lead to lattice distortion and pore formation, improving the active sites and accelerating the mass transfer. 10,11 Cr has been reported to accelerate the electron capture and charge transfer. 12 Fe doping could improve the exposed active sites by the synergistic effect.…”

“…However, exploration of intrinsic 2D half-metallic FM materials with a room-temperature T C , sizable MAE, and multiferroic coupling is still required. 2D transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), with diversified polymorphs and interesting electronic and magnetic properties, 28 have attracted considerable attention. 29 In addition to the widely studied traditional phases (e.g., 1T and 2H), at least five new phases (e.g., 1T 0 0 0 -MoS 2 , 30 2M-WS 2 , 31 pentagonal PdSe 2 , 32 1S-NbX 2 (X = S, Se, and Te), 33 and pentagonal CoS 2 34 ) have been proposed using experiments and calculations, which exhibit distinct properties, from semiconductivity or superconductivity to antiferromagnetism.…”
