Abstract:Purpose:
Although the scholarship of teaching and learning literature in the area of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) continues to grow, there is a need for research focused on preservice speech-language pathologists' (SLPs') preparedness for practice and the roles related to AAC they will assume as professionals.
