Studies on Optical Constants and Solid State Parameters of a Semi-organic Nonlinear Optical Material L-Methioninium Nitrate for Optoelectronic Device Fabrication
Abstract:Semi-organic nonlinear optical material L-methioninium nitrate have been
synthesized by the slow evaporation technique at room temperature. The synthesized crystal
structure lattice parameters are found to be a = 10.68 (2) Ǻ, b = 5.47 (2) Ǻ, c = 16.725.47 (2)
Ǻ; α = γ = 90º, β = 100.7º by single crystal X-ray diffractometer. The grown crystal belongs to
a monoclinic structure and non-centrosymmetric space group P21. Optical properties were
determined from optical absorption studies to compute the absorption ra… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
