Studies on Real and Imaginary Part of Permeability for Sm–Dy Substituted Mg Ferrite

Abstract: The ferrite samples having composition Mg[(Sm)0.5(Dy)0.5]xFe2‐xO4, in which x varies from 0.05 to 0.3 in steps of 0.05 have been prepared by using combustion method. X‐ray diffraction analysis confirmed the formation of cubic spinel structure in addition of ortho‐ferrite phase due to substitution of rare earth ions.
