“…Exine ornamentation (macroreticulate, scabrate, irregular-rugulate, reticulate) and sulcus membrane ornamentation (macrogranulate and plicate-granulate) were varied in the monosulcate pollens of Fritillaria (Kosenko 1999). This variation accepted by later and present studies (Tekşen et al 2010; Hosseini 2018; Samaropoulou et al 2022). The pollen grains of Fritillaria were examined by Tekşen et al (2010) and six types of exine ornamentation had determined (reticulate, reticulate-perforate, suprareticulate, rugulate-reticulate, psilate-perforate, and perforate).…”

“…In contrast, Hu et al (2021) reported only reticulate exine surface ornamentation in the studied members of this genus. In our research, the exine ornamentation in two regions of pollen and sulcus membrane ornamentation were varied and accepted the variation of these qualitative characters in the previous palynological studies (Kosenko 1999; Tekşen et al 2010; Hosseini 2018; Samaropoulou et al 2022). It seems that reticulation and regulation had a major role in exine ornamentation of the equatorial surface and sulcus margin region of most of the taxa of genus Fritillaria based on this research and previous studies (Kosenko 1999; Tekşen et al 2010; Hu et al 2021; Samaropoulou et al 2022).…”

“…And the formula (L-1) is as follows: 0.01 g CaCl 2 , 0.05 g MgSO 4 ·7H 2 O, 0.2 g kh 2 PO 4 , 0.221 g ammonium tartrate, 1.641 g anhydrous sodium acetate, 11.098 g glucose, 0.5 mL vitamin solution, and l mL inorganic solution [ 17 ]. Specifically, spore suspension with a concentration of 2 × 106/mL was added to 200 mL of the above medium and then placed in a constant temperature oscillation incubator to cultivate at 37 °C and 150 rpm to form mycelium pellets [ 18 ].…”
