Study of Blockchains’s Consensus Mechanism Based on Credit

Abstract: Practical Byzantine fault tolerance (PBFT) is one of the most popular consensus protocols of the blockchain. However, in the PBFT, the enthusiasm of reliable nodes cannot be stimulated effectively, and a large amount of communication resources are used for data consistency. Therefore, a new consensus protocol-credit-delegated Byzantine fault tolerance (CDBFT)-is proposed in this paper. The CDBFT works as the following: 1) a voting rewards and punishments scheme and its corresponding credit evaluation scheme ar… Show more

“…However, there is a concern about malicious users may continue to use detection programs to send messages to Ethereum to establish more contracts or authentication, and try to obtain more token rewards. A possible solution maybe inherited from [25]. A status of revalidation maybe set only after the website has been detected for an estimated period of time, or classify users according to its credit state such as Credible, Normal, Excepted and Invalid level [25] to prevent intentional user.…”

“…Therefore, blockchain technology has a consensus algorithm module. The consensus mechanism is used to make the consistency of the content recorded by each node in the blockchain when there is no intermediate institution [31]. And it can establish an internal consensus mechanism that can enforce mutual trust among nodes, so that nodes can operate stably in the deblocking chain without the third-party organization [32].…”

“…At present, the equation algorithm can no longer be well applied to the new blockchain environment, so the existing equation algorithm has to be improved. The practical byzantine fault tolerance (PBFT) algorithm can reduce the complexity of the original byzantine fault tolerance algorithm while improving the calculation efficiency without influence on the security of the algorithm [32,33]. However, the PBFT algorithm needs to give a limited condition to each node of the copy.…”
