Abstract: Dermatoglyphics (fingerprint/dactylography) is derived from the Greek word “Derma=Skin, Glyph=Carve.” Dermatoglyphics is defined as the scientific study of naturally occurring epidermal ridges and their configuration on the digits, palms and soles apart from flexion crease and secondary folds.
