Study ofD0decays intoK¯0and

Abstract: Using the CLEO II detector at CESR we have studied D decays into final states with a E or K and have measured branching ratios for the decay modes D~(K /K * )~,g, q'. These results are compared with predictions of various charm decay models, and contributions of final-state interactions are discussed. PACS number(s): 13.25. +m, 14.40.Jz

“…3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fractions of hadronic D meson decays to be: BðD 0 → K − π þ η 0 Þ ¼ ð6.43 AE 0.15 stat AE 0.31 syst Þ × 10 −3 , BðD 0 → K 0 S π 0 η 0 Þ ¼ ð2.52 AE 0.22 stat AE 0.15 syst Þ × 10 −3 , and BðD þ → K 0 S π þ η 0 Þ ¼ ð1.90AE0.17 stat AE0.13 syst Þ×10 −3 . The measured branching fraction of D 0 → K − π þ η 0 is consistent with the previous result measured by CLEO [1,2], but improved with a factor of 4 in precision. The branching fractions of D 0 → K 0 S π 0 η 0 and D þ → K 0 S π þ η 0 are determined for the first time.…”

“…However, the measurement accuracy of the Cabibbofavored (CF) decays D →Kπη 0 is still very poor [1]. The Particle Data Group (PDG) gives a branching fraction of ð0.75 AE 0.19Þ% for D 0 → K − π þ η 0 , which was measured by the CLEO collaboration 25 years ago [1,2]. There are no measurements for the isospin-related decay modes D 0 → K 0 S π 0 η 0 and D þ → K 0 S π þ η 0 .…”
