Study of percolation and modeling of the order–disorder transition for zincblende–diamond structures: Percolation and the existence of a unique band of events

Abstract: a b s t r a c tIn this paper, the dependence of the crystallographic direction in the critical concentration of IV-type atoms for the zincblendeediamond (orderedisorder) transition in (IIIeV)eIV semiconductor alloys were found for the (001), (110), and (111) growth directions by using Monte Carlo simulations. Intervals for the concentration values were determined by simulation, generating a band that is consistent with experimental data. Selecting the average value of this band produces good agreement with pre… Show more

“…In addition, Figure b presents the electrical and thermal characterization curves, I (DC) versus T (K), showing increased linear behavior of current from 21.1 to 37.2 mA DC, by varying the temperature between 321.1 and 447.8 K. This effect may be associated with several processes of superficial and volumetric electrical conduction in AC, that is to say, current flows by microscopic percolation paths in the GO domains . This type of behavior, where the parallel conductivity of graphite depends directly on temperature, was reported by Wallace .…”

“…The crystallinity value is a parameter used to determine the atomic order of the atoms into the lattice and can be determined using an order parameter 18 which can be affected by intrinsic and extrinsic factors. On the other hand, the crystalline quality (CQ) is a parameter that can only be determined through the FWHM when the pattern is governed by the elastic contribution.…”

“…Optimization algorithms solve this kind of problems, especially evolutionary algorithms because they can avoid local minima following many search pats simultaneously [18,19,20,21]. Torres-Acosta et al [18] used a selfadaptive genetic algorithm to determine optical constants and thickness of PSi films in the visible range (400-800 nm).…”
