Study of structure and properties of Cu—Ti alloys surfaced on copper

Abstract: Due to the high wear resistance and heat resistance titanium cuprides are used as thermal barrier and protective coatings for copper and copper alloys parts. To reduce the cost and expand the application of coatings, it is proposed to form surface facial layers on copper from titanium cooprides upon argon-arc surfacing using a filler wire of titanium.
