Abstract: Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) is a popular method for studying defects in materials. With the development of fast digital oscilloscopes and digitizers, the conventional analog positron annihilation lifetime (PAL) spectrometer is being replaced by a digital PAL spectrometer.
