Abstract:Aramid III is a high-performance fiber obtained by bulk structure modification based on the molecular structure of Kevlar fiber. Unlike the intermittent heat treatment method of Armos, Aramid III is prepared by continuous heat treatment technology. In this paper, the effects of heat treatment temperature, tension, and speed on fiber properties are studied by orthogonal experimental design. It is concluded that temperature is the most critical factor affecting fiber tensile strength and elastic modulus. The eff… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
