Study on emergency escape route planning under fire accidents in the Burtai coal mine

Abstract: Developing an effective safety emergency plan for coal mines is crucial to prevent and reduce accidents, as well as improve the emergency response capability. This paper identifies and analyzes potential accident hazards in the Burtai coal mine through a comprehensive and practical investigation of risk factors. Based on a mathematical model of a mine fire disaster relief algorithm, the MATLAB software is used to conduct numerical simulations of the dynamic spreading process of the fire smoke. Several escape r… Show more

“…Therefore, studying the combustion of multiple combustibles and the diffusion of toxic and hazardous gases in different locations underground will effectively manage mine fires [5,6]. In this paper, based on a mine, we will establish a threedimensional visualization ventilation model of this mine through Ventsim software and conduct fire simulation [7,8], compare the fire events caused by different locations and different fuels in the underground, analyze the change pattern and influence range of temperature, CO concentration and visibility at different times and locations under different working conditions, and provide the future treatment of similar events in the underground coal mines theoretical basis, and provide an important realistic reference for effective personnel escape and rapid development of emergency rescue strategies underground [9][10][11][12].…”

“…Currently, closed-type parking lots have become an integral part of the infrastructure of various cities of the world [1][2][3][4][5][6], due to the rapid growth in motorization, while the number of parking spaces is lagging behind. In closed car parks, there are risks that are associated with the release of harmful substances from the exhaust gases of cars into the surrounding air, thereby creating high fire loads in emergency situations.…”

“…Many scholars have conducted related research on emergency rescue of spontaneous combustion, which mainly focuses on emergency response systems [7][8][9][10], emergency rescue capability [11][12][13][14], etc., but less research exists on the generation of emergency response plans for spontaneous combustion.…”
