Abstract: Aim: The present study was undertaken with the aim to evaluate serum Gamma Glutamyl Transferase (GGT) levels in patients of acute coronary syndrome. Methodology: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 50 cases with acute coronary syndrome (Group A) and 50 healthy control subjects (Group B) meeting inclusion and exclusion criteria. “…19 We found that GGT has a significant positive correlation with triglyceride levels, similar to results reported by akpek et al and Jimba et al 16,20 This study's Findings emphasize that Serum GGT levels correlated positively according to (Spearman's rho) with VLDL-C, in agreement with the results of Dhanju and co-authors, who showed that there is a statistically significant positive relationship in GGT with VLDL-C among CAD patients. 21 The available data have shown a significant positive relationship between GGT and CRP, these results are also supported by Akpek and his colleagues. 16 Another study by Emiroglu supported our results, who performed a comparative analysis of serum GGT and…”
