Study on magnetic rheological mount properties of rough-rolled motor

Abstract: Magnetorheological mount is an effective semi-active suspension, which is widely used in vibration damping systems for automobiles and aerospace machinery. The magnetorheological mount converts electromagnetic energy into mechanical energy to control and vary the viscous damping and dynamic stiffness of the suspension. In this paper, a new lumped parameter model of magnetorheological mount is established, and on the basis of the total parameter model, the nonlinear mathematical equation of magnetorheological m… Show more

“…The remaining mount type, semiactive mounts, is superior over other two mount types for engineering applications because of several advantages, including simple structure, simple maintenance, production feasibility, and high performance in terms of vibration isolation ability within a wide excitation-frequency band. Magnetorheological fluid (MRF)-based mounts belong semiactive mounts that can be controlled by electromagnetic signals and have been demonstrated to have high performance to date (Chen et al, 2016; Deng et al, 2021; Feng et al, 2022; Hou et al, 2011; Kim et al, 2021; Park et al, 2016; Phu et al, 2014; Su et al, 2020; Yang et al, 2022; York et al, 2011).…”
