Abstract:This paper presents a hybrid type of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) microgripper integrated with an electrostatic mechanism and vacuum technology. Vacuum tools are integrated in this microgripper in order to achieve a reliable and accurate manipulation of microobjects.
